Is this included as part ot the ESHG meeting?
No, you must purchase a separate registration fee for this meeting. This is a separate Society and audio visual and other administrative costs plus catering to host the meeting will be paid by the Human Genome Variation Society not the ESHG.
How do I register for the meeting?
Registrations are accepted via the Registration Section on the Homepage.

What is the cut-off date to register for this Meeting?
Pre-registration is advised to secure your place, however you may try to register onsite for a higher fee however we cannot guarantee you a place if space is not available. We have turned people away at prevous conferences many times in the past.
I need to cancel, is there a cancellation policy?
The organisers understand that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the Course you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge.
- Cancellation of Registrations received up to 5th April 2021 will be eligible for a full refund, less a €20 Administration Fee.
- Cancellations of Registrations received from 6th April 2021 to 5th May 2021 will be eligible for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations of Registrations received from 6th May 2021 onwards will be 100% NON-REFUNDABLE.

Do I need to wear a name badge?
Your name badge is your entry to the HGVS Meeting 2021; your badge also helps your security at the conference so we can ensure only people who are supposed to be there gain entry so please wear it. The ESHG name badge is NOT ACCEPTABLE as this is a separate meeting.
Do I need personal insurance?
Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to person or property, including baggage during the conference. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy taken should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance. Please read our Terms and Conditions before registering for the event.
